Top 10 Projects of 2015

It's hard to believe today is the last day of 2015!  I've been reviewing the year and making goals for the next one.  I have a good feeling 2016 is going to be a wonderful year!

These are my top 10 favorite projects of 2015.  If I missed one of yours, let me know!  :)

If you haven't seen this DIY Industrial Apothecary Cart, it's one of my favorite and best furniture upcycles.  My dad found an abandoned, curbside china cabinet and we used the base to build this!  If you haven't seen the BEFORE, you really must click over because the transformation is amazing, I promise.

This mock-crocodile chest of drawers started out as Plain Jane French Provincial.  Read all about the coolest roller I used to give drawers texture here

An industrial side table rescued from bulk trash day.  I restyled it into after getting some inspiration from Pottery Barn.  You can see the entire transformation HERE

DIY Gift Wrap Cart built for the Crates and Pallet Sawdust & Snow contest with Ryobi Tools.  It sure came in handy during all the holiday wrapping! We are anxiously waiting to find out if we won and Triple Threat gets a bunch of new tools!

After finding one of these bar stools in the alley, I knew it was perfect for our French-inspired Themed Furniture Makeover.   The BEFORE was outdated, boring oak but some paint and stencils gave them a tres jolie makeover.

A neglected metal cabinet hidden in a warehouse for years.  It was covered in dirt and rust but the potential was huge.  Click here to see the before.

When I found this 70's style coffee table, I knew it needed to be restyled into a tufted ottoman

This barrister-style bookcase is the hutch from the curbside china cabinet.  I used the base of it for the Industrial Apothecary Cart.  I loved being able to repurpose both halves into something completely different than its original intent.  See how it started out HERE.

This project almost killed me but I learned how to get the perfect black stain on wood that just didn't want to cooperate.  Learn how to get the perfect ebony finish HERE

This thrift store mirror started out a gaudy gold.  A few layers of paint transformed it to match our guest room perfectly.

I hope you enjoyed our Highstyle Restyle year in review!  Here's to a blessed new year to us all!
